Washington Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in Washington, is pleased to announce that state player registration fees will decrease for the 2015-2016 seasonal year. Approved by the Washington Youth Soccer Council at the Annual Player Fee Meeting in January, the reduction in player fees will allow local clubs and Washington Youth Soccer member associations to reinvest at the grassroots level and continue to make the game more accessible to the community.
Consisting of 55 State Associations including Washington Youth Soccer, US Youth Soccer is the largest youth sports organization in the country and announced earlier this year a 9% increase in overall membership in 2014. The insurance and risk management policies and procedures of US Youth Soccer, including concussion education and background checks for coaches, referees and volunteers, continue to ensure the safest and most valuable programming for its members.
“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with local Clubs and Member Associations in delivering the best local US Youth Soccer programming,” stated Washington Youth Soccer President Tom Ament. “By delivering the same level of service and support, we are committed to reinvesting in local recreational programming.”
