In memory of Dave Painton

With great respect and deep sadness, Washington Youth Soccer recognizes the loss of a beloved member of the soccer community. Dave Painton was a longtime volunteer with US Youth Soccer, Washington Youth Soccer, TPCJSA and Lakewood SC. Dave was named a Washington Youth Soccer Life Member in 1997 and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008. In 2015, the Under-15 Boys WA Youth Soccer Founders Cup trophy was named in Dave’s honor. Our thoughts are with the Painton family. He will be missed.

EPD State Team Pools Announced

Washington Youth Soccer is excited to announce the Elite Player Development (EPD) State Team pools for the 2015-2016 season. Players selected to the EPD pools will train together and players will have the opportunity to earn roster spots for the US Youth Soccer ODP Region IV Championships in Phoenix in January, and the Friendship Cup in Portland over Memorial Day weekend. Additionally, players will have the chance to be evaluated by ODP Regional Team, collegiate and U.S. National Team scouts.
