Washington Youth Soccer EPD Teams Shine at Region IV ODP Championships

Last month’s US Youth Soccer Region IV Olympic Development Program (ODP) Championships in Phoenix were billed as a showcase for the top competitive players in the 14 state associations that make up Region IV — Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Cal-North and Cal-South. Teams play a round-robin format Friday through Saturday, with the top teams advancing to Sunday’s semifinals, then a final.

Washington Youth Soccer EPD continues play at the 2015 Region IV ODP Championships

The second day of play at the 2015 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) Championships continued on Friday as teams tried to position themselves for the knockout rounds. Four Washington Youth Soccer Elite Player Development (EPD) teams were able to clinch semifinal spots after just two days – 1998 Girls, 1999 Girls, 1999 Boys and 2002 Boys. Play will continue tomorrow at Reach 11 Sports Complex, with championship matches to be held on Sunday.
