This year the AGM has been restructured to feature a working session with all attendees breaking into small groups in order to participate in strategic planning with the WA Youth Soccer Board of Directors and staff. Also new this year is the format of the Washington Youth Soccer Annual Report. Instead of printing the Annual Report, as we have done in past years, we will instead only be producing a digital version which will be posted on our website and emailed out on Monday May 12th.
Please fill out the 2014 Annual General Meeting RSVP form no later than Monday May 5, 2014.
Association Annual Report Upload
The Annual Report upload form for Associations can be found here. The form is 4 easy questions about your Association and has the option of including your logo. This is a great opportunity to highlight your Association and the programs that are offered. This information needs to be uploaded by April 28, 2014 at 5:30 PM.
Lodging for Friday May 16, will be provided by Washington Youth Soccer to any representative who must travel more than 50 miles (one way) to attend the annual meeting. Please indicate on your RSVP if you will need lodging. *You must RSVP by Monday May 5, 2014, to guarantee your reservation*

Important Dates for Board Nominations
60 Days prior to AGM, Nominating Committee shall notify nominees – March 18 (Tuesday)
45 Days Nominees must submit a nomination packet- resume, statement of function and written acceptance to office – March 24 (Monday) *date listed is earlier than 45 days in order to give committee and staff time to process for posting*
45 Days Nomination Committee shall publish the list and nomination packets of candidates for election at least 45 days before AGM – April 2 (Wednesday)
No later than 30 days prior to AGM Member Associations and District Commissioners may propose alternate names of candidates for open positions on the Board – before April 17 (Thursday) – Open April 3 to April 17
No later than 20 days prior to AGM Nominating Committee shall publish the name of additional candidates by the Member Associations – April 27 (Sunday)

The WA Youth Soccer Board of Directors Nominating Committee is beginning the nomination process for the 2014 Board of Directors election to be held at the AGM on May 17. There will be 7 board positions open for nomination. Please see the Board Member Nominating Criteria below for more information on the duties and commitment required of board members.
