FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON (August 23, 2013) – Elite Player Development is pleased to announce some exciting new changes in the evolution of the program. For the upcoming 2014 Elite Player Development season we will not be holding open tryouts for any of the participating age groups.
With the support of the Regional Clubs, we have decided that all of the top tier players have already been identified through their participating clubs, and at the regional and national levels.
With this being said, our Elite Player Development staff will strategically work in coordination with the Regional Clubs, Club Directors, Technical Directors, Club Coaches in order to gather player recommendations. Our Elite Player Development staff will also be scouting players within their natural playing environment to ensure that we hand-select the best players to represent Washington Youth Soccer at the Region IV Championships and other Elite Player Development opportunities.
With the program founded on tradition, the Elite Player Development program emphasizes a professional and positive environment, which plays a role in Washington Youth Soccer player’s long-term development. The history and tradition of ODP & Elite Player Development in Washington stems from the honor of being able to represent your state as the best against the best!
