The topics for the next three sessions are "Sports & Positive Development & Parent-Athlete Relationship," "Are We Developing a Style of Play in US - Where Should We Begin?", and "Maximizing Young Soccer Players' Performance - A Comprehensive Approach."

The Washington Youth Soccer Coaching Department has announced the next two sessions in a series of Special Topics Coaching Seminars geared toward helping all levels of coaching within Washington Youth Soccer. The topics for the next two sessions are “Goalkeeping for U-10+” and “Team Building.” The Special Topics Coaching Seminars are led by Washington Youth Soccer's Technical Director Timo Liekoski and Director of Coaching Education Shannon Murray, as well as special guest speakers.

Washington Youth Soccer creates Washington Coaches Association in partnership with NSCAA

Washington Youth Soccer has partnered with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) to create the Washington Coaches Association, a valuable resource for coaches of all levels in Washington state. The Washington Coaches Association will allow members the benefits of both the Washington Youth Soccer Coaches Department and NSCAA resources.

Special Topics Coaching Seminar Announced

The Washington Youth Soccer Coaching Department has announced the first session in a series of Special Topics Coaching Seminars geared toward helping all levels of coaching within Washington Youth Soccer. The first session, titled “Do’s and Some Don’ts,” is geared toward the Under-5 to Under-12 recreational coach and will be held Wednesday, March 19th from 6:30-8 pm at the new Washington Youth Soccer office in Tukwila.
