Tukwila, Wash. (April 24, 2018) – Washington Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in Washington State, is excited to announce that Cascade FC will return all programming to WA Youth Soccer in the Fall of 2018.

Recently, the WA Youth Soccer Board of Directors supported Cascade FC and Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer with a recent partnership on new field development in the valley, also involving the Snoqualmie Valley School District in a three-legged project.

“My family and I have been involved with Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer and Cascade FC for nearly 20 years, with our children playing and my wife coaching,” commented Dan Popp, Washington Youth Soccer President. “It is with my great pleasure and excitement that we welcome Cascade FC back into the WA Youth Soccer family of youth soccer clubs.

“Together, we are developing programs to best serve the players and their families and we look forward to extending the partnership into their competitive soccer programs, with Cascade FC now competing in WA Youth Soccer umbrella leagues. We are excited that the leadership of Snoqualmie Valley shares similar principles with WA Youth Soccer, and we look forward to growing great programs together!”

Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association President Bud Raisio stated, "The Snoqualmie Valley and its surrounding areas, including the communities of North Bend, Snoqualmie, Fall City, Carnation, and Duvall, is one of the fastest growing areas of the State. The move of our Association’s competitive soccer club, Cascade FC, back to WA Youth Soccer is being made to address this tremendous population growth and to provide kids with opportunities to play soccer at skill levels that work for every player and their family. Cascade FC is dedicated to player development and has served our community since 1989. This move will further improve its service to our community by providing fitting competitive leagues for its select and premier teams with the NPSL and RCL, respectively.”

With 100,000 players registered annually, WA Youth Soccer is a nonprofit organization bringing soccer opportunities at all levels of the game to kids ages 5-19 across the state. WA Youth Soccer is comprised of 29 Member Associations and over 200 clubs that facilitate recreational, select and regional programs, as well as TOPSoccer (soccer programming for players with disabilities), four annual State Cup Tournaments, state level leagues, an Elite Player Development program, and several soccer outreach programs.
