An alum of several US Youth Soccer programs, Brian made her first start for the U.S. Women’s National Team in a 1-0 win over Canada on Jan. 31 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Despite being the youngest player currently with the team, Brian looked composed as she played the full 90 minutes in the victory. Read more here.

Kim DeCesare is taking her considerable soccer skills to New England to play for the Boston Breakers, who selected her in the National Women’s Soccer League Draft last month in Philadelphia. The 22-year-old Massapequa Park resident played two years for the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) and one year on Region I ODP. Road to Brazil

Major League Soccer announced on Monday that it will organize a "Road to Brazil" series of international tune-up matches in the lead-up to World Cup 2014 featuring several of the nations heading to Brazil, including reigning champions Spain (Group B), as well as African powers Nigeria (Group F) and Ivory Coast (Group C).
